Valentines Activities

Here are some of the things we made for Valentines Day... These are crayon shavings melted in between two pieces of wax paper. We did a set of Ian's hands and Ava's hands...

Of course we had to make Grandma Sandy's famous sugar cookies. Ian is a pro at putting on the sprinkles...

...Ava, Not so much. Her sprinkles got clogged because she kept smushing it into the frosting.

Here are the Valentines we made for Ian's party at school. Ian stuck all the candy hearts on them. Since he has 3 girls and only one boy in his class, we decided to make butterflies.

Of course he wanted to make one for himself as well. So his was the tester. The other ones turned out much better. He also made one for Ava and for his Dad.

We almost forgot to make one for his teacher, but remembered at the last minute.

We also made cupcakes for his party.

I love all the Holidays, it helps life seem less boring. Plus it gives us a chance to make something and spend a whole lot less time in front of the TV. Now I'm going to have to start coming up with some ideas for St. Patricks Day, if you have any ideas let me know.
