A Fun Week Makes One Really Long Post

Dustin's parents Sandy and Gary also came out to visit us on July 24th. They stayed for a whole week and we had a blast! We started out Saturday morning going to a Pioneer Day activity at City Park. We had lunch and they had free rides for the kids. Surprisingly we got Ian on most of the little kid rides.

Sandy hung out with Ava while we went on a few rides.

While riding on this car all he kept saying was "Go Fast" over and over.

Here you will notice he is pointing down, because he wanted to get off. The little girl next to him was nice enough to ride with him, since it's too small for adults.
I had to include this picture to show the bizzare weather in Pueblo. This is a hailstone Gary picked up from the grass outside our house. There is a saying here, "if you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes". It is so true the weather changes So quickly here. Also the day of this storm Sandy and Gary treated me to a much needed massage and when we went to the spa there were branches and leaves all over the ground from the hailstorm, and a bunch of people's cars had been dented. It was crazy.

Tuesday we went to the Zoo, and Ian cried until Gary would take him on the Merry-Go-Round.

Ava's first trip to the zoo.

The Giraffes are Ian's favorite.

Gary and Ian fed the Giraffes some crackers.

Wednesday and Thursday we went down to the Riverwalk.

We tried to get some pictures of Ian and Ava but Ian didn't want to hold her.

They headed home on Friday, but not before we got some cute photos of them with the kids.

We painted Ava's toes for the first time.

We had such a great time this week. Thanks for coming out and for all your help with Ian and Ava!

Looks like a good time. Thanks for only putting one picture of Dustin up; helps make it a little easier to look at the pictures.
